Five minutes before I meet a client, I always run these three prompts. Two before I walk in, one as soon as the meeting is over.
1️⃣ Know the client
Before you walk through the door, you already know what to talk about.
Use a ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity that can browse the web, and paste in the company name and website.
Based on this company's website and LinkedIn, what are likely their three biggest challenges right now? Company: [company name / URL]
2️⃣ Rehearse the objections
Too expensive, no time, need to think about it — you have an answer ready for every one.
Say what you're selling, so the boss the AI plays raises the objections you'll actually hear.
Play this client's boss. Give me five reasons they won't buy, then coach me on how to answer each one. What I'm selling: [your product / service] Client: [company name]
3️⃣ Follow up straight away
Drop your meeting notes into the AI and send the email the same day. Don't wait.
Messy notes are fine — a photo of handwriting or a voice-memo transcript works. Read it once before sending and fix the tone.
Summarise what they need, and write a follow-up email that includes the next step and a time. (Paste your meeting notes)
A lot of deals aren't lost on price. They're lost on preparation and follow-up. But remember: AI does the preparing. What makes a client trust you is whether you really listened in the room.
First time: Pick the next client you are meeting and run prompts one and two today. Run the third the evening after you meet.
